A True Wife

"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is nobles and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller

Invasion of the Dementors

Yes the Dementors of Azkaban invaded the eastern coastal states this past weekend. It was horrible, so get your chocolate and be ready. Don’t laugh Sunday was pretty bad. Did you know that Lowe’s has a uni-sex restroom? I sure didn't and no, I didn’t see the inside of it. However, I have been STERNLY warned the next time I cut my eyes at him we will visit the restroom. Any way about 8:00 hubby wanted chocolate so I made him some of those chocolate oatmeal boil cookies afterwards we both felt better.

I have the most loving husband of all. However, I really wish sometimes he would not cut me slack when my hormones are rearing their ugly head. Sometimes that is when I need him to step up take control because I have lost control. It doesn’t help that I have been on an emotional roller coaster with our middle son; we are at that stage where everything is mom’s fault so his solution is just to ignore me. Kids - ya gotta lov’em even when you want to pinch their heads off. I can’t complain the boys never gave us any problems through their teenage years they waited until they turned 20 before they decided we were stupid and didn’t know what we were talking about LOL. Any way hubby knew I have been on an emotional roller coaster and has been very lenient with me. Shhhhhh don’t say anything but he has been a little too lenient…fine ok a lot too lenient, but that is our little secret.

I have sent him a bunch of links for spanking and hormones and how spanking helps. We will see what happens. I maybe asking for more than I can handle but somebody needs to get handle on those dementors because I sure can't. Until then I will warn everyone about them and inform you that Professor Lupin was correct chocolate does help so stock up on chocolate NOW! Have an awesome week and remember the first sign of dementors is a chill in the air and sad thoughts.

  1. Can you share some of those links? 4 of the 7 dwarfs are visiting me. My teen hit that age at 18. Count yourself lucky that you got a two year delay on the blame game. Hope you work things out soon. It seems like it drags on forever.

Hope you can get the spanking(s) that you need!

  3. So that's what's been doing it! I know Stormy must be shaking her head at you and Rogue and me. We're all annoyed that our husbands won't hold our feet (or whatever) to the fire and I imagine she wouldn't mind a little slack once and a while.

    I'll keep the chocolate handy!

    Hugs,
    PK

  6. LOL@Rogue, I just had to post both of your comments sorry but but I had to chuckle at both of them.

PK-I have accused Stormy and Rogue both of sneaking into my room and reading my private journal. LOL

Missie - Rogue is the one that got me started on hormones and spankings. Just google hormones and spankings and you will find all the links you can read for days LOL

Kitty-I am sorry to say you may not be there yet but you will one day so take good notes now LOL.

  7. Omg, yes. I know this feeling. I have lived it lately. I too feel hes been too lenient. Ive been too sensitive lately though. Good luck with that!

  8. Gems, I think that is why he has been so lenient lately, I have been in warp speed in the sensitivity department, I cry at EVERYTHING. It has gotten so bad that he has put a box of tissues in the car because I cry over silly songs. I am tearing up now just thinking about all things I do cry over geeezzzzz isn't there a fast forward button at least let me get past the crying. I now know why little old ladies look like prunes they have been through menopause and cried to till they dried out. LOL

  10. Stormy, you would not be happy with my HOH you would be complaining about leniency and inconsistence just like the rest of us. LOL

  11. Those Dementors visit just North of you, too. Honestly, a long, hard one does the cure for a little while. It has to be one that has been gradually built, though.

Chocolate is the cure for EVERYTHING!

    Hugs,

    Kady
