A True Wife

"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is nobles and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller

Rump Roast Anyone?

Rare? Medium ? or Well Done?

Well I don’t seem to have PK’s problem. Did you know that heaving a sigh is a sign of an attitude? Ok so it was more of a huff and I am pretty sure some eyes rolled. In my defense I just wanted to show him something.

I need for the wedding to be over (six weeks - six more weeks) but first I need to find a dress for said wedding :-( and I need for the move to be over. Move? Oh did I fail to mention we were moving? Oops sorry left out that little detail. But most of all I need a vacation. Oh yeah did I mention that I have gotten the bright idea to go back and finish my degree? Guess when classes start…yes you guessed it August the week after the wedding.

My fortune teller said I foresee....

...lots of well done rump roast in your future.

    1. There was more to it than her just rolling her eyes and heaving a sigh. Her body language said she was aggravated with me. I had just come in for lunch and hadn't had a chance to breathe yet.

  2. Could you have a talk with my husband? I could flip him off and tell him to go to hell (I would never do either) and he STILL wouldn't do anything - grrrrrrr.

Annie, I'll be posting soon about my vacation - you have to see the pictures. You won't believe it. Relaxation for sure!

    Hugs,
    PK

    1. PK he caught me by surprise with that one. Usually he ignores me but he grabbed the rubber spatula and had and attitude adjustment session.

  3. I think you have indeed taken on a lot. An sighing eye roll...is that on the list of no-no's? Oh yep...it appears so! Kind of a universal sign of "I am so done with you!"...right? Sara
