A True Wife

"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is nobles and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller

Happy Thanksgiving

I am popping in the Woodshed long enough to say Happy Thanksgiving and share some of my blessings. (Hopefully that will be the only reason I visit the wood shed today LOL)

First I am most thankful for my Lord and Savior, without Him I AM NOTHING.

After Him I am thankful and blessed to have a loving a supporting husband that puts up with me and is leading me in a CDD life style. I am thankful for three wonderful and health boys. Our boys are all living at home and going to college. So life gets to be interesting around my house when girlfriends and college friends show up. But we are blessed to be able to share this time in their life with them.

I am also thankful for my mother, brother and sister and in-laws. They drive me crazy at times but hey makes me love them that much more.

I am thankful that both hubby and I have jobs and a roof over our heads. That is a blessing that I so take for granted. Many don't have that blessing this year so it makes me appreciate it even more.

I am also thankful for my online friends. Many of who I do not know personally but they are there supporting me as we embark on this new journey of CDD.

God bless each and everyone of you and may you all have a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving. If are traveling to be with family please be careful and have safe travels.
