Your hands are larger than mine so I feel secure when you wrap your hands around me and hold me. Your hands are stronger than mine so I feel secure when you take my hand and lead me. Your hands are firm and I feel secure when you apply them to my bare bottom as a means of correction. I know you are guiding me as a Christian husband that is being guided and led by the Holy Spirit.
Your hands know just the right spots to knead sore and tired muscles. Your hands know just how to caress my body and bring it to a point of no return with desire and have me aching for more of your touch. Only with your hands and body do I find that release. I feel loved when you caress my body and trace the stretch marks on my stomach from when I carried your children. Your hands are those of my lover, my protector, my travel guide, and my friend.
I loved your hands when they held our new born sons, I loved your hands when they played catch with our boys, and I loved your hands when they shook our sons’ hands the days when they graduated high, basic training and I will love them the day that shake our sons’ hands on their wedding day. Your hands are there any time I need a hug, a helping hand or correction. I love your hands when they are covered in grease from working on the car or covered in dirt from helping me in the garden. I love your hands when they are covered in soap helping me do the dishes. I love your hands as they help me fold laundry. I love your hands as they help load and unload the grocery cart. I love your hands as you wrestle with the dog or pet the cats. I love your hands as they brush my hair.
Love Annie
