I am not intimidated by that....

Ok so I have a food budget and I keep a well stocked with pantry. But I have some set aside for trips for fresh stuff like milk, eggs, juice etc. Well I had not bought meat in a while and we were out of ground beef so we stopped at the store on the way home from church. You'd think on the way home from church we would not have issues, I mean we just spent time in the Lord's house praising Him and worshiping Him. But noooo someone decided to be difficult.

They had chicken breast on sale 98 cents a pound so I picked up a couple of packs and a pack of ground beef. I had limited funds with me and did not want to use the debit card. He asked how much that totaled and I told him. He (and I might add in a huffy kind of way) said ok never mind (NEVER MIND?!?!? Oh don't play that game with me) So I put one pack of chicken back and said ok what do you want. I get the famous "nothing get the chicken"

By now I am seeing purple and I said No.

Get the chicken

No

So I go get in the check out line, I am tired hungry and not in the best of moods not only because we had to stop at the store but because he won't tell me what he wants to eat. What am I a freaking mind reader?

Later in the afternoon I see the LJ laying on the bed...

What's the lj doing on the bed?

I think you know.

(If I knew then I wouldn't be asking) No I do not know what the lj is doing on the bed; was it in your shoe when you put your shoes on?

No it was not in my shoe, I think you just don't want to face the fact of why it is on the bed.

(Really what fact is that) I have no idea what you are talking about.

I think you do, the attitude you took with me at the store.

You never told me what you wanted at the store.

It is a mute point, the point is you copped an attitude and I am not going to put up with it.

(Really I copped an attitude well buster you are the one with the attitude) I did not cop and attitude, I asked what you wanted and you said nothing.

And you are arguing with me now

I am not arguing with you I asked what you wanted and you are the one that copped the attitude.

I did not get an attitude, I just knew we would get more meals out of the chicken.

What did you want?

They had cheddy brocks on sale 2 for $5

Well we could have gotten those, we could have gotten 2 meals out of them.

No we couldn't we would have barely gotten one. The chicken was a better deal and I told you to get the chicken.

Humph

So the lj is laying on the bed and it frustrates me so because I know he thinks he is making a point but I know good and darn well he will not follow through.

Stormy, this incident lead to the Eyes of My Soul post. I was totally crushed when he didn't follow through. It has not been a good week for us. Vacation two weeks away I am hoping we reconnect and work through some issues and get back on solid footing.

Proverbs 31: 10-31
