As you can tell I have not been faithful about posting or reading especially over the past month. I am an administrative assistant to two (2) department chairs at a private univerisity and this past week classes started back. So I totally understand those of you like PK that are teachers and are dragging butt right now. Last week kicked my butt. Hence the reason I asked (ok pushed) for the spanking earlier this week. Any way yesterday I spent some time reading and catching up on y'all and well Audra has been in my head again. On August 10 she posted almost word for word what I had been trying to say to my hubby. So yesterday I stole her post (well after emailing her and getting her permission) and edited it to fit me. Last night I handed him a two and half page letter and left it at that. I saw him stick it with his stuff for work so I figured he would not read it until today.
Well this morning I was getting ready for work and he walked in and said "REALLY?" For once I was totally clueless as to what he was talking about. I just looked at him. He walk to his side of the bed to his bedside table and tossed the envelope down and said he would finish reading it tonight that right now he was getting a stiffy and he was not going to work with a hard on. I was speechless and watched him walk out of the room. I continue putting on my shoes and wracked my brain as to how far he could have possibly gotten in the letter and what could have given him a stiffy.
Later when I was in the kitchen gathering our lunches for the day he walked in and I asked him how far he had gotten on the letter and he said to end of the second page. Yep you guessed it. As soon as I got to work I pulled it up to see just what he had read. Now I have butterflies.
LOL I just got a steamy text from him...Lunch should be interesting.
A True Wife
"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is nobles and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller
And the plot thickens....me thinks you just might have a closet "spanko" on your hands...you just have to pull him out! Pardon the pun....LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't have but I laughed so hard reading this my stomach hurts!Good luck with communicating things, it truly is the key.
ReplyDeleteWow, kudos to Audra for writing the original post and to you for putting it in your own words and giving it to your husband:)!
ReplyDeleteKityt
Was it the "what a girl wants" one? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteYes Stormy that is the one.
ReplyDeleteKitty...definitely KUDOS to Audra.
Tammy, laugh now I am waiting for the shoe to drop so to speak. I keep getting strange looks from him and this night I was about asleep when he come to bed but he reached over and kissed me good night and gave me soft love pats on my bottom before telling to go back to sleep. This morning more strange looks. I love our out of town house guest but the suspense is killing me I want to know what is going through that warped brain of his.
K's sweetie - I could only hope I have a closet "spanko" on my hands. LOL
It's nice when other people write what we are feeling. I've shown my Husband lots of post written by other subbies. It kind of is like backup and gives me comfort that I am not the only one with these feelings.
