One Down Two to Go

It is official one of the little birdies has left the nest. Sad day for this momma but last night we had the house to ourselves for a while and hubby showed me just how he could be when we were alone.

Let's just say it is REALLY a good thing we do not have close neighbors...

He has been holding out on me

As a brand new empty nester let me say congratulation on a step in the right direction! It is amazing what an empty nest does for a man and his imagination. I'll give you the advice someone gave me as the nest begins to empty - down size at once. Get a new house where the last two kids have to share a room! As soon as that drives them from the home sell again and get a one bedroom! LOL!! I didn't take the advice but I saw it's merits.

I keep telling S that I'm looking forward to that empty nest syndrome!! LOL

I know it can probably have some sad moments... but I think in the long run... definitely worth the emotional sweat!! ;o)

LOL - That is sooooo awesome! There can be many benefits to an empty nest. You are losing the kids, your just moving the pieces around so the puzzle fits better for this stage of life.

Colossians 3:18-25

Proverbs 31: 10-31

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
