So he thinks he is a mind reader...yeah right

Me (sweet loving tone) -- Honey why are these clothes on the bed?

Him (not so sweet loving tone) -- Because, I haven’t had a chance to hang them in the closet yet.

Me(sweet loving tone) -- So you tossed them on the bed hangers and all?

Him --- I am a mind reader you know?

Me -- Really and just what am I thinking?

Him -- Spank me.

Me -- Uh no I am not.

Him -- With that tone and attitude you are.

Me – I do not have an attitude.

Him – Uh-huh sure you don’t.

So he thinks he is a mind reader huh….we will just see about that. So I keep my mouth shut and go about my chores. Until…(later in the day)

Him -- I am still a mind reader.

Me -- I really don’t think you are a mind reader.

He stands me behind me and pulls me back against him with his hands on my hips.

Him -- Oh I am an excellent mind reader. You are thinking spank me…spank me long and hard.

Me -- No I am not.

Him -- Then you need to change you attitude.

Hummmph

Him -- What that a huff.

Me -- No it was not a huff.

***SWAT***

Him -- Don’t lie to me and don’t huff at me.

Me -- Yes Sir

Good thing he is not a mind reader because the thoughts running through my head looked like a comic strip with foul language.

I really want my huffs back. Why can't men tolerate huffs?

Hummm...maybe he is one after all LOL

:). A huff sounds like swearing to us HOHs.

Maybe we're not really mind readers, maybe there's something in the tone, the wording, and yes, the huffs, that set us off.

I've have told Lynda before, "If you think I'm sensitive about something, you might REALLY want to pay attention to it.

I can promise you my man is not a mind reader! If he could read it all and understand how I feel I think things would be so much better. If he could just read it when I huffed and fussed at him I would probably get my fill of spanking then.

Colossians 3:18-25

Proverbs 31: 10-31

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
