A True Wife

"A true wife makes a man's life nobler, stronger, grander, by the omnipotence of her love 'turning all the forces of manhood upward and heavenward.' While she clings to him in holy confidence and loving dependence she brings out in him whatever is nobles and richest in his being. She inspires him with her courage and earnestness. She beautifies his life. She softens whatever is rude and harsh in his habits or his spirit. She clothes him with the gentler graces of refined and cultured manhood. While she yields to him and never disregards his lightest wish, she is really his queen, ruling his whole life and leading him onward and upward in every proper path. -JR Miller

The Move

Ok so we have officially moved 1300+miles and I am still living out of suitcases and boxes.  I HATE MOVING. So this blog will be taking a hiatus until the boxes are unpacked and we have our own internet. I should be back by Thanksgiving. I think...may be?!?! I hope I am back by then if not I will send out a SOS - LOL.

  1. It is very convenient though that your blog stays put in the very same place. :)

Happy unpacking. I hate moving too!

  2. I haven't moved enough to really know, but I expect I wouldn't like it either. Therefore, I'd probably ignore the boxes and all and just concentrate on getting the internet and loose myself in blogland. Not the best thing to do, but I'd do it anyway.

Looking forward to your full time return.

  4. LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD (sorry, the picture I'd love to post won't copy over here)

I have nominated you for a Liebster Blog Award. I was recently nominated by one of my readers, and now get to pass this on to my favorite bloggers. From what I’ve researched, this award is to be given to blogs with fewer than 200 followers (and I'm not sure if you "qualify!"). There are a variety of responses expected as a result of receiving this award: 11 random facts about you, answer the 11 questions posed, and nominate 11 other bloggers (other than the one who nominated you). While I felt "honored" for the award, it also is a bit of a burden to fulfill its "requirements!" See my site for more: http://desiringdiscipline.wordpress.com/2012/11/17/an-award/

When I first began to research DD/TIH/TTWD etc... yours was one of the blogs I came upon that seemed sane and helpful. You were so kind as to respond to me in my blog and I believe your blogs have been an helped to answer some my questions. I appreciate that you are willing to "put it out there" for us neophytes. Thanks for your honest, frank and humorous writings. I've benefited and enjoyed!!
