Good Week...No Spankings

That is until today. Since both hubby and I work Saturdays are our running around, errand, grocery shopping, bill paying (well the ones we pay by post)day. Today was no different, we had been running around all day. Had done the bank run, the tobacco shop to get his smokes (grrr - won't go there) and the grocery stores (ok I will admit it I am a bargain shopper and yes I shop multiple stores) I was hot, tired, and needed to potty so I hopped out of the jeep and he caught me..."I walked alway the way around here and you couldn't wait five seconds?" The peck on the lips didn't erase the glare. I knew it was coming so I turned around and poked my butt out

*whack whack*

Me: "Wait that was two!"
Him: "You want two more?"
Me "No Sir *pout*"
Him "Stop pouting or I will give you something to pout about."
Me "Yes Sir"
Him "You were in such a big hurry here take the eggs and bread and go" (still glaring)
Me "Boy you are grumpy"
Him: GLARE
Me: RUNNING FOR THE DOOR

Today's lesson: Men are so grumpy when they are hungry, hot, tired and haven't had a smoke all day and it is after noon.

Solution: Feed them, let them have some down time and a smoke break then send them to play golf with son.

Everyone is happy...even though my bottom still smarts. LOL

I don't understand why you got a spanking...you had to go to the bathroom, didn't you? Are you not allowed to open the car door?

Kitty - no I am not allowed to open my own car door or any door when we are out in public. The only doors I am allowed to open are the ones inside the house. Yes I had to go to the bathroom but he knew 5 seconds would not have made a difference one way or the other because I would have grabbed grocery bags on the way in.

LOL @ Gems, I thought of several of you today when that happen.

Rogue- I was told I was grumpier. LOL

Colossians 3:18-25

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Proverbs 31: 10-31

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
