A True Wife

Bubbles in the air

Well it is official our baby is married. We have a handsome son and now a beautiful daughter to be his helpmeet.

Today is Tuesday, and I have recovered enough to feel human. I did learn there are two things you do not want to hear the morning of your sons wedding.

1. From the groom...Where's the ring?

2. From the bride...The car battery is dead and I am 45 minutes late for my hair / makeup session

After a crazy morning the wedding started 10 minutes late but it was still beautiful and the happy couple left through a haze of bubbles to embarked on their new life together.

Our prayer for them is may they always date each other, may they remain best friends and last but not least may the sun never set on their anger.

Colossians 3:18-25

Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged. Proverbs 31: 10-31

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens. She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
